This listing is for a Jaguar GKN/ Salisbury differential that has been rebuilt. We replace all the serviceable parts. This listing is the earlier 4HU casing with the metric taper roller bearing output shafts. This can be used for cars with inboard brakes aswell as late XJS and aston with outboard brakes.
We offer these in multiple ratios as per the box above. Prices change depending on ratios. After your purchase you will get a follow up call so we can ensure we are building the correct version and that the specification is compatible for your car.
The diff has been stripped and rebuilt using a used crown wheel and pinion. The bearings inside the differential have been replaced. It has had new case bearings, pinion bearings and output shaft bearings. The seals on the pinion and output shafts have been replaced. All bearings used are OEM as would be supplied from Jaguar.
This unit is supplied with an original 45/45 ramped LSD unit. The preload of this is set between 40-60ftlbs but we can adjust depending on your requirements. We also have options for ramp blocks which we can quote for under a separate job.
This is an outright purchase. Your old unit is not required.
