This is a differential output shaft bearing and seal kit for an XJ40 XJ6 & XJ12. This is only a seal, we do a kit in another listing. The seal is original equipment. This is the same kit that we supply with our diff rebuild service in house. We have been using this kit for well over 5 years and have had great success. To change these parts you will need access to a press.
Please Note! This kit is for early XJ40 cars, some of the very late cars changed the output shaft housing. Also, if your diff has been changed in the past (possibly with a late XJ40 or X300 diff) then it is worth checking. There are two differences on the output shaft seal. This seal is to fit the later cars. If your output shafts are bolted on with Hex head bolts then this kit is for you. If your output shaft is bolted on with E head Torx bolts then you need the later seal. Please see our other listings for the other kit. Please see the last picture for reference to this bolt.
