This listing is for a Jaguar XJ6/XJ12 (XJ40 / X300) 3.58 Salisbury differential that has been rebuilt with original LSD. We replace all the serviceable parts.
The diff has been stripped and rebuilt using a used crown wheel and pinion. The bearings inside the differential have been replaced. It has had new case bearings, pinion bearings and output shaft bearings. The seals on the pinion and output shafts have been replaced. All bearings used are OEM as would be supplied from Jaguar.
This is a 3.58 ratio with Jurid coupling. Compatible with XJ40's and X300's. This ratio was generally fitted to 6.0 XJ81 and some high spec 4.0 and 3.6 6 cylinders (AJ6 and AJ16). The LSD is a non ramped unit, this means there is no ramp angle inside. We have set the preload between 40-65FTLBS. Please remember that this is a basic LSD, for a more progressive LSD we would need to install a ramped unit.
We can supply as an open unit within is a non LSD differential which is in another listing. This is an outright purchase.
