This listing is for a Jaguar XJS and XJ40 4. 0 late AJ6 head. The head was removed from a supposedly running engine but we never heard it run. The car was left outside for a while and there was some water ingress into the spark plug holes. This has put some moisture in the head and the cams are corroded. The head will need re-building. This is one of the very last AJ6 heads before they went to the AJ16 engine. This head has the 4 bolt exhaust manifolds not the 7 like the X300. The engine had the oil filler on the cam cover.
The head is spares or repair as it needs overhauling. It looks to be free from cracks or damage. It is presentable on the surface.
