This is a listing for an OE specification Stainless Steel centre Y section and cat replacment pipe. These are the best quality OE replacements you can find. They are a direct cross over with the originals and share the same part number. These are to be fitted to late XJS 4.0 AJ16 engines, these are the ones only with the slip joint. Although the EPC suggest the VIN 194775 as the change over we are not sure about this. This will NOT fit cars with olive joints. This is a direct replacement for the original Jaguar part number but this is a CATALYST REPLACEMENT.
This gives the engine a lot more breathing space and it is made from top quality Stainless Steel. It is bent to perfection trying to avoid as little collapse of the pipe as possible. They do make the car sound a bit louder, they are a modification part. Made in the UK. Your car MAY NOT pass an MOT but as it is OE interchangeable you can keep the old one to swap in and out. Some AJ16's are known to pass emission tests without cats, they run very clean (some).
