This is a set of XJ and XJS rear springs. These are our direct repalcements springs. These are a set of 4 and are sold as standard ride height. We spent some time dynotesting a range of these rear springs. There are many different part numbers. The spring that we decided was the best all round design was the XJS sportspack spring for XJS's from 1987-1992.
This is the CBC2793. Most of the earlier part numbers supersede to this spring. We have found this is suitable for XJ6/12 series 1,2 and 3 aswell as the XJS range. On some models they may require the rubber packer CBC5435 or our aluminium spacer to match the current ride height.
XJ and XJS ride heights do vary a lot. No two cars are the same. The Jaguar book suggests 175mm from the rear subframe cage to the floor. These spring may raise the car or lower it. Often this is becuase the front spring are also sagged or incorrect. It easier to raise the car with the packer CBC5435 but not easy to lower it.
