This listing is for a Jaguar REAR RIGHT door locking and latch mechanism striker plate removed off a 1969 Daimler Limousine 420 with the VIN 1M10** so quite an early car. The mechanisms are used and is 50 years old!! They will need clean and likely re-grease and oil. They are sold as spares or repair because of the age.
Front and rear look to have the same part number. We would assume them to be the same but please check.
