This is a diff bearing and seal kit to rebuild one of the output shafts for an early differential fitted in a range of cars including late Etype 1 and S2 aswell as a range of saloons 420, stype ETC. This is for the cars with inboard brakes. All the bearings are original equipment and the seal is OEM specification.
The kit ONLY CONTAINS TIMKEN BEARINGS. Unlike other kits offered on eBay this is top quality. This is the same kit that we supply with our diff rebuild service in house. We have been using this kit for over 5 years and have had great success.
This fits differnetials that are externally shimmed where the nut is internal. If you have an external nut this is not compatible. These bearings are shimmed, you will need to ensure the correct preload when you assemble. The bearing numbers in this kit are lm48548/lm48510.
The kit comprises of:
Output shaft bearing - 2 x 11101
Output shaft seal - 1 x 7953/1 / 8436a
Output shaft O ring - 1 x 8950
Tab lock Washer - JLM556
